A recent study on the effectiveness of private schooling in Australia has found that there is no statistical difference in educational development between children attending government or non-government schools.

On Sunday 26 April Old Xaverians, Old Patricians together with past and present parents and students gathered in our War Memorial Chapel to commemorate ANZAC Day.  Thank you to Father Chris Middleton SJ for celebrating our Mass and to the Community Relations Office for the organisation of the day. We were overwhelmed by the huge congregation in attendance.  

  • The 64th Maytime Fair will be held on this Saturday 2 May 2015 from 9.00 - 5.00pm.

  • In 2015 Xavier College will continue to offer a variety programs related to the development of Snow Sports at each of the three campuses.  These programs include: Trailblazers ‘Learn to Ski’ Program, Race Training including the Xavier College Championships, Victorian Interschool Championships.

  • The archives have been busy preparing for the school’s 79th Anzac Commemorative Mass, which is held every year on the Sunday after Anzac Day.   

  • History is what shapes our present and our future. As scripture reminds us “No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends” (John 15).

  • The Dean of Operations/Middle Years is a member of the Kostka Hall Campus Leadership Team with delegated responsibility for the administrative procedures (Kindergarten – Year 8) as well as the academic, pastoral, spiritual, and co-curricular programs for Years 5 to 8 (Middle Years) at the Kostka Hall Campus.

  • At the Maytime Fair this Saturday, the Early Years “Lucky Coin Toss” activity will be set up in the Great Hall.  Thank you to all who donated sweets and gifts for our activity. We hope to see lots of Kostka families on the day.
