As I pen this reflection, Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran are still on death row, awaiting their execution. While it seems unlikely that they will be spared, efforts continue in so many quarters to gain them a last minute repeal.

There has been much media attention over the past few months concerning the fate of Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran along with a number of other convicted drug traffickers on “death row” in Indonesia. 

  • As educators, the Ignatian model of discernment offers a model of decision making that is about listening, being clear about our values, understanding the values of others and building and preserving relationships.

  • A reminder to all families that Term 1 concludes on Friday 27 March.  Normal dismissal times apply on this day.  Term 2 commences on Tuesday 14 April.

  • Our Year 4 students have very clearly and confidently outlined the Ignatian values and IB Learner Profile qualities they felt they would need to show and develop in their role as leaders and role models for our Early Years students.
