Edition 20, 3 December 2014
Fr Chris Middleton SJ

As our school year draws to its close, the new Church year begins with the season of Advent, the weeks that lead us into the celebration of Christmas. Behind the carols and the decorations and the mounting excitement of the little ones, lies a deeper message, a message of expectation, promise and hope, of ancient hungers satisfied, a message that goes to heart of Christian life.

Dr Chris Hayes

The end of year festivities are upon us as we celebrate the students’ achievement and endeavour. 2014 has provided many challenges and opportunities for our students and as we begin Advent it is a time for preparation and reflection. I recently came across the words of a Christian Brother, Patrick White cfc who wrote about forgiveness.
