It is a rare thing that a meeting of Catholic bishops would attract much media attention. Yet the recent Synod of Bishops on the Family in Rome attracted intense media scrutiny.

Dr Chris Hayes

I hope you have had an enjoyable long weekend. Our Year 12s continue with their VCE exams and it is very pleasing to see how well they completed their schooling.

  • The last fortnight has seen a number of special events at the College that have brought great joy and happiness to our community.

  • I thank students and parents for their feedback and appreciation for the commitment and the passion staff demonstrate in their work, with and for the students.

  • Throughout Monday 10 November to Thursday 13 November, boys in Year 8 will undergo their first formal experience of end-of-year examinations.

  • On Monday night I attended the Year 7 “Night of the Notables” which is an investigative unit of work developed to focusing on a person who has made a positive difference in the lives of others.

  • I would like to bring to your attention the upcoming Report Writing Day on 21 November.  This is a Student Free Day with no classes being held on this day.

  • This term has started with a sporting focus with our Swimming Carnival and Athletics Carnival being held in weeks 4 and 5.
