Almost from the beginning, Jesuit schools have included Drama in the curriculum. In the Sixteenth to Eighteenth Centuries literally hundreds of Jesuit directors, playwrights and producers were involved in theatrical productions in Jesuit schools and universities.

It is always surprising how quickly the school year marches on as we have been spending a good deal of time in the last few weeks preparing for 2015. There have been transition events, 

  • Come along to our 3 Campus Jazz Night featuring KH Stage Band, BH Stage Band, Combo Black, Combo Red, X Factor, SC Stage Band and Staff Stage Band.

  • The Xavier Social Justice Network have the pleasure of inviting you to this year’s ‘Daring to be Different Forum’ focused on Walking with Vulnerable Children and Young People.

  • Social Justice Week is held each year during Term 3.  Its aim is to broaden students’ awareness of issues pertaining to social justice, as well as to encourage us all to live simply, so that others may simply live. 

  • Last week, Ignatius House led our Campus Assembly, welcoming Fr Chris Middleton SJ to the Burke Hall Campus

  • Patience is an area of late that, as a dad, I have been challenged in. My two little girls under the age of six, Zara 5 and Evie 3 as well as my 1-year-old son Finn,

  • The Year 8 boys are currently selecting their subjects for next year. Ms Caroline Sheehan, the Director of Teaching and Learning, as well as Subject Heads
