Jesuit Refugee Services Dinner
The Xavier Social Justice Network support Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) Australia through the annual Jesuit Refugee Services Dinner – to raise funds and awareness for their work.
JRS Australia seeks to meet the urgent needs of refugees and asylum seekers, focusing in particular on areas where no other agencies are working – such as practical assistance, pastoral care, research and advocacy.

Mission of the Xavier Social Justice Network
The Xavier Social Justice Network (XSJN) works within the spiritual tradition of the Jesuits – which calls us to live a faith within which social justice is core.
XSJN seek to engage the wider Xavier College community – current parents and their families, past parents, staff and Old Xaverians – in becoming compassionate and reflective men and women who are committed to serving those in need through:
- Direct service, and
- Raising awareness about social justice issues.
