INTRODUCTION:

Foundation – The Xavier College Foundation was established in 1978 as a company limited by guarantee. Since its inception, the Foundation has gratefully received donations, bequests and other gifts which have led to the building up of a corpus of funds. The income derived from such funds enables the Foundation to support the College broadly and ensures the continuation of an increasing number of scholarships and bursaries, the expansion of curriculum programs and assistance in the building of new facilities.

Purpose – The Foundation's sole purpose has been to support the Mission of Xavier College, particularly within those priorities which emerge from the school's Jesuit ethos. The ultimate goal being to assist in the long term financial security of the College which is essential as it maintains its pursuit of excellence and seeks to improve accessibility to the College.

The management of the Foundation is vested in a Board of Directors which collaborates closely with the College Council

The Foundation offers full TAX DEDUCTIBILITY on a number of funds for which taxation receipts will be issued when acknowledging the receipt of donations.

Gifts from our alumni, parents and friends are the foundation of our continued success. Your gift to the Foundation provides much needed support to ensure that access to a Xavier education is available to all eligible students regardless of financial need. In addition, annual fund gifts bridge the gap between what the school receives in fees and what it actually costs to educate each student at Xavier. Funds also support the many valuable programs on campus that make the Xavier experience unique.
