Criteria for Employment

Applications in writing, with the names of two referees and two further
written references.

All staff are asked to acknowledge their commitment to the 1997 Xavier
College Protocol on Issues of Sexual Abuse.

As with all appointments, this offer is subject to the College obtaining a
satisfactory result to a Police check. This process is standard practice for
the employment of all new staff both at Xavier College and in other schools.

Teacher Registration - All teachers in Victoria are required by legislation to
be registered with Victorian Institute of Teaching. Teachers must be registered
with the VIT prior to commencing duty.

If unsuccessful, all information provided by the applicant will be kept
confidential and held for up to 3 months after which it will be destroyed.
The successful applicant will be expected to fully support the
Ignatian ethos of the College
